Center for Diversity &
Women's Resources

The Center for Diversity & Women's Resources offers a variety of programs and activities that provide support, advocacy, and resources to:

  • Women in non-traditional occupations;
  • Individuals who identify as gay, lesbian, bi, trans, or questioning & their allies;
  • Single parents, especially those who receive TANF or are in the PAS (Parents as Scholars) program

The Center awards ten (10) gender equity grants each year to students who demonstrate financial need. Award criteria target students enrolled in Non-Traditional Occupations and single parents.

The Center is located in the Campus Center building in the Student Services corridor. We are open Mon, Tues, Weds 10:00a to 3:00p and Fri 1:00 to 3:00. You can contact The Center by telephone (207) 741-5652 or find us on the SMCC portal under special groups
